Teens

8th to 12 graders join our Teen Advisory Board!

Teen Advisory Board, or TAB, is a group of teens in 8th -12th grade who work together to advise and advocate for ways the library can best support teens and the community. TAB members meet the first Saturday of the month at the library to share ideas, plan, and advertise library programs and events. By becoming a TAB member, you can:

  • Earn service hours
  • Turn ideas into action
  • Have fun, hang with friends, and eat snacks
  • Connect to new opportunities

While both TAB and Library Volunteers can earn service hours, TAB members have a more focused and active role in library planning. It is possible to be both a TAB member and Library Volunteer, but it's important to note that Library Volunteer positions are limited, while our TAB member space is always open! For more information, check out our TAB Frequently Asked Questions.

Interested in becoming a TAB member? Great! You can fill out this form. You can check the library calendar for more upcoming TAB meetings and TAB-sponsored events.
